It was the last day of February 2012. The first time in my life losing someone very close to me.
A dearest friend of mine, a sister in Christ.

Lisariana..
A beautiful tough girl who loves God with all of her heart and decided to commit all her life to serve Him.. :)
She's not a genius, so she never stopped trying to learn..
She didn't have a golden voice, but she did her best to sing for Him..
She couldn't play musical instruments damn well, but she used what she got to serve Him..
She faced a lot of problems, but she kept herself devoted to God..
She didn't have a perfect relationship with her family and friends, but she never stopped being grateful for having them..

No..She's far from perfect, she's not flawless, but she had an attitude to live..
An attitude to live as a good child of God.
An attitude to give all she had to serve God.
An attitude to do her best to glorify His name.
An attitude to be light wherever she was.
An attitude to love God and to devote all her life to Him. :)

It was a blessing to have such a dear friend like her.
It was a blessing to know her strengths and weaknesses, knowing her thoughts and feelings, to have a true friend like her.

Thank you for teaching me that being best friends doesn't mean having a perfect relationship, instead of having a  valuable relationship..accepting each other, understanding each other, encouraging each other, listening to and supporting each other, and of course praying for the best for each other. Love you a lot, Lis.

It was a terrible news to hear, but it was a good news to know you are with Him now.

Are we in Tune?

Once in a rainy afternoon, I heard a soothing melodies. I knew, that sound came from a piano. It was beautiful, so beautiful that made me feel like leaving this real world, deep into my fantasy.. The harmony was so calm and mild that made me keep wondering..

"how that beautiful sound is produced?"

A piano has many keys..Each of them has a unique sound. Although there are only 12 tones, but each of them has a different pitch. unique, it's unique..

In order to make a beautiful harmony, a pianist has to press some keys..Those keys work together, producing a certain harmony.. They work alternately, combining some harmonies to be a beautiful song in accordance with the pianist's hands, which turns out to be a beautiful performance..

Somehow I wondered..it's life..it's us..

We live together, we are the keys..God is the pianist.

Let's live in harmony, helping each other, supporting one another, completing each other to live according to God's will.

Let's do our best, don't ruin the harmony. Once a key is broken, it will burden all the other keys, and of course distress the pianist.

Let's live in tune.. :)

And after I lost myself to a deep thinking, I realized..

that beautiful sound came from my hands on my piano.. :)

|| Floating with an Air Balloon ||

I'm sure everyone of us know a balloon is elastic, easily burst, and easily blown by the wind that we have to tied it up or hold it tightly. In other words, it is unstable. And so did I. When I was a kid, I was easily affected by the environment. When someone treat me well I was easily flattered, but when someone treat me bad I was easily feel offended. I was so emotional, mushy, and very dependent to others; especially to my family.

As time goes by, I've grown to become more like an air balloon through all my experiences. Now I am much more stable and calm.

In the heart of the air balloon there is a burner. The burner is used to make the balloon rise and to keep it aloft. In my case, this new found motivation of mine is my burner that keeps me struggle to survive through my life's complicacy. It enables me to control myself and to face every obstacles in my life. Just like the air balloon facing air turbulence, being shaken wildly at times, but still manage to maintain its direction; because the flame is still burning. The burner in my life is my God. He is the One who burns me to have the motivation to live and teaches me how to live.

We can also see a basket on the air balloon. It is used to carry people to enjoy the magnificent views of the world. I wish I could be like the basket too, where I can inspire others to feel the beauty of their lives. I wish through me, people around me can realize the grace of their lives and be grateful for it. There are usually so many graces, but sometimes they aren't too obvious. Just like the air balloon that can easily be seen by the world, I want to share my life that I can be a blessing to others.

Life is beautiful so long as we are grateful for it and have people to gently remind us to do so. My life is like an air balloon.. It is a simplified picture of things, but it works. My life is like an air balloon.. Would you like to become one too?

Heading the new life

First of all, I would like to say "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" to everyone of you..^^

Well, the new year is coming...what do you think? hmm..

When it come to the end of the year, I usually think about the resolution for the coming year. How about you?

Facing a new year is like starting a new chapter in our lives. So, usually people make some resolutions for their life to make a new "story", a better one of course. Then, how to make the 'right' resolution which you can accomplish and make your life better by the end of the following year?

Initially, we need to have a reflection. Before making the resolution, we have to evaluate our lives in the current year first. Are we changing? Getting better? Or accomplish the previous resolution, our goals for that year?? Evaluating our lives takes time. We need to recall our memories, analyze our habits, behaviors, and attitudes. Not only that, we can also analyze our works, attainments, and achievements. Surely we had failure and success. Therefore, we need to analyze what made us succeed and failed. When we know the causes, we will be able know our strength and weakness more precisely.

Afterwards, make new orientation. Don't be perfunctory in makin new goals. Think it carefully so it will help us to be better. We can make goals in many aspects in our lives, such as, our relation with our God, family, friends; our study; or our job. Mainly we have to reset our priorities so we can spend our time well. And it is more important that we have to develop our character so we can be responsible and commited to undergo our resolutions and complete it by the end of the year. And, make sure that it will make you have a better life with a better effect for others too..=)

Making a resolution is important, but it is more important to do it. Plans and goals are nothing if they do not work at all. So, resolutions..hmm..make it and live it.. HAPPY NEW YEAR people!! Go get a new great life..^^

=) T.I.M.E (=

Hmm talking about time... Many people feel 24 hours in a day is not enough.
Have you ever felt that too? Well..i used to feel like that too, i blamed God for giving me only 24 hours with so many things to do.. but that's my past ^^, though I'm busier now, i know 24 hours is sufficient if i can manage it well..=)

God has designed it for our good. Let's think..What if we have 30 hours in a day? It will make us work longer and harder. May be at first we would think that we could get more time to rest and relax. But if it really happened, other people would not let you rest, they will even force you to work. And of course we would be more tired, more stressed because we got more things to do. Remember, human will never feel satisfied.

All of us know time is something out of our control. Sometimes we regret something and wish if we could turn back the time. It means we have to use our time wisely. To use it wisely, we need to get our priorities straight. Our time for our family, study, work, relation with God and friends should be balanced so we got a healthy life too. There is always time to relax, to have some fun, but we have to do our responsibility first. Be a good manager! ^^

Talking about managing time is talking about managing our priorities well. Don't let urgent things steal your time to do the important things! If you keep doing that, one day you will realize that you got your important things abandoned. And if you have no more opportunities, you will regret that..=( Choose which one is the most important and which one is more important than the other one. Be careful guys, if you think you are too busy to do an important thing because of other 'important' thing, actually, according to you, that important thing is less important than the other 'important' thing. Get the meaning? ^^

So manage your time well. You must differentiate the important one and the urgent but unimportant one.. Just be wise guys, 24 hours in a day is just right.. God bless you =)

d' Essentials of LIFE

We all know that life has an end. Well, i see life like a plant..

First the seed is in the soil and produces roots, then it grows a sprout. It will only grow healthy if it gets enough water and sunlight. Then the roots find water to drink and the sprout gets taller and taller. Then it blooms flowers. When it is about to die, it drops seeds in the ground and the life cycle begins again. . .

We were born in this earth and our family and environment produce roots..well the roots are our basic values.. Then we grow older and be more mature. We will only grow healthily if we get enough physical and spiritual food. Then naturally, when we grow older our curiosity leads us to seek more logical things that build our character and maturity. Then we got a mature personality which make us a blessing to others. When we are about to die, we leave the essence of our life to this world..

Hmm..What do we live for? Many people don't know what do they live for. Isn't it a very serious problem? wew.. Thx God I know that I live to glorify my God's name..^^
Living on this earth is preparing for the eternal life.. Our live now is just a rehearsal.. The actual life isn't here.. so..Where would you spend the eternity? Think about it deeply..
And according to the previous one, the other question is.. What message will you leave to this world when you are gone? Those are the two questions you should think of..
So use your life EFFECTively.. Do your best in everything for God's glory..and for sure, the impact will be positive..

The last thing is..Love your life and be grateful of it.. c:
